Self-Determination, Sovereignty and Terrorism

This project is focused on developing the intellectual basis of earned sovereignty as a means of resolving sovereignty disputes as well as studying the link between self-determination and terrorism. In this vein we are examining various sovereignty-based conflicts and reviewing the solutions crafted for those conflicts in an effort to provide guidance to solve future conflicts in the most peaceful manner.

We have reviewed various peace agreements and are in the process of organizing the tools utilized in each of these to form an organized manual of the tools that have worked and those that have not. Our project is tasked with defining the methods, tools and objectives of these new forms of modified sovereignty, for conflicts such as those in Georgia and East Timor.
